Background

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases and are implicated in carcinogenesis. (KLK-L3; HGMW-approved symbol KLK9) is a novel kallikrein gene with utility for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutics of various cancers including those of the breast, prostate and testis.
