Human PDGF-CC Biologically Active Protein

Product: Vandetanib (hydrochloride)

Human PDGF-CC Biologically Active Protein Summary

Description
A disulfide-linked homodimeric protein with a 6-His tag corresponding to amino acids Val235 – Gly345 of PDGF-CC.

Source: E. coli

Preparation
Method
Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA.
Details of Functionality
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using NR6R-3T3 mouse fibroblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 70 – 350 ng/mL.
Protein/Peptide Type
Biologically Active Protein
Endotoxin Note
<0.10 EU per 1 ug of the protein by the LAL method

Packaging, Storage & Formulations

Storage
Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Concentration
LYOPH
Reconstitution Instructions
Reconstitute with 0.1 mg/ml in sterilized 4 mM HCl containing at least 0.1% human or BSA to desired concentration.

Notes

This lyophilized preparation is stable at 2-8 degrees C, but should be kept at -20 degrees C for long term storage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, the preparation is most stable at -20 to -80 degrees C, and can be stored for one week at 2-8 degrees C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20 degrees C to -80 degrees C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
