Dilutions
  • Western Blot 1:1000
  • ELISA 1:100-1:2000
  • Flow Cytometry
Application Notes
The antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000. Use in immunoprecipitation reported in scientific literature (PMID 27183589).

Background

Cellubrevin, also known as VAMP3, is a member of the Vamp/synaptobrevin family. Vamps, syntaxins, and the 25-kD synaptosomal-associated protein are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. Cellubrevin is a vesicular soluble N-ethylmaleimide sensitive factor attachment protein receptor (v-SNARE) homologous to the neuronal synaptobrevins 1/2 and is also a substrate of tetanus neurotoxin.
